MARCOS TSO GT2
By Roger Young (Jan2023)
The TSO seemed to 'spawn' models with a lust to make it better all of the time Tony Stelliga seemed to find it almost impossible to launch a specific model and just to build it preferring to, seemingly reengineer and 'improve' continully. The Marcos TSO GT2 was launched as race bred Grand Tourer that would be available in two forms. A Sports package offered stiffer suspension, racing brakes and 475 horsepower, the Touring package was basically softer suspension and additional touring features.
The TSO GT2 design team took styling cues from Marcos’ 45-year British motorsport heritage, resulting in a distinctly British sports car with classic flowing lines and classic leather interior, for the more discerning driver.
The TSO GT2 was a lightweight 1150 kg, and could accelerate to 60 mph in just 4 seconds, continuing on to a top speed of 185 mph. Could you get the suitcase and golf clubs in the boot?
