Marcos Owners Club
Fees for 2026
The Marcos Owners Club is the original club for anyone owning or interested in Marcos cars.
In 2022 we celebrated the Clubs 50th anniversary and a lot has changed since 1972. It is fantastic that there is still an interest in owning, and being part of a very special group who keep these much sought after cars running.
In the last fifteen years the MOC has seen some big transformations. The club's magazine is now the envy of many much larger club and our social media has been and is still being expanded. We have also managed to put on some great events, the Marcos 50th Anniversary at Prescott Hill Climb, and the Prescott Revival events, Curbporough Sprint, Donington, Silverstone Festival stands as well as award winning show stands where the club is invited to display alongside the likes of Ferrari, Bentley, Bugatti, Jaguar and Lamborghini.
But, and of course there is always a but, the club needs funds to continue to function. Non of those that run and help run the club are paid. In fact they quite often fund things out of theor own pockets.
Membership fees have remained the same since 2012, even though everything else has dramatically risen in price. Increasing costs, including printing Marcos Torque, the club's superb high-quality magazine, and postage, means we must unfortunately look to increase club fees for the first time in thirteen years to a more realistic level. This is something we have resisted doing whereas many other clubs increase subscriptions annually or biannually.
According to the Bank of Englands inflation caculator, £30 in 2012 is the equivalent of around £44 today (Sept 2025) based on the consumer price index, around a 46% increase, which unfortunately does not take into account postage and printing costs which have risen by more.
In fact, !st Class postage in 2012 was 90p in 2025 that price has risen to £3.25 a staggering 250% increase. (Price based on large letter 101 - 250g in the UK). Overseas postage has increased to £5.80 in the EU, to as much as £9.00 for other world zones. In 2012 the price was £3.86.
We have reviewed other clubs membership fees. Clubs we know that some MOC members belong to just for a comparison.
It is difficult to compare club fees in this way because of differences in membership numbers, membership types, joining fees, online only publication and services, but that said, here are a few for comparison:

Lamborghini Club UK £95
Ferrari £170 Surcharge +£50 Surcharge +£50
